Are you a skilled pricing analyst looking to make a significant impact on proposal development? We are seeking a highly experienced Proposal Pricing Analyst to join our team and drive the development of competitive and compliant pricing strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pricing Process: Oversee and participate in the entire proposal pricing process, from developing cost volume schedules to final preparation.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with Capture Managers to formulate effective pricing strategies.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractor RFQs and ensure seamless integration into proposals.
  • Gate Review Support: Provide support for internal management pricing reviews.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze cost/price data, create detailed narratives, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to coordinate and deliver precise cost proposals.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance throughout the capture and proposal phase for price/cost proposals.
  • Cost Model Reviews: Conduct internal reviews of key cost models during the proposal phase.
  • Subcontract RFQs: Prepare subcontract RFQs by analyzing contract requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Integration: Integrate basis of estimates (BOEs) and program strategy into winning proposals.
  • Data Analysis: Research and analyze historical data to develop pricing models.
  • Cost Data Collection: Collect cost and pricing data, develop cost proposal structures, and interface with technical staff.
  • Strategy Formulation: Formulate, communicate, and implement integrated cost/technical proposal strategies.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare timely, accurate, and compliant price proposals per RFP specifications, FAR/DFARS requirements, and corporate procedures.
  • Audit Support: Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in pricing/estimating, contracts, or proposals, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of government proposal development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with various contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPAF, T&M).
  • Proficiency with price modeling tools (e.g., ProPricer).
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, live models, VBA coding).
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations (FAR, DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Understanding of proposal auditing techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • US citizenship required due to work on Federal Contracts.
