Role

To be successful, you will need to have 2-5 years of experience wholesaling investments to advisors, ideally UITs, ETFs and Separately Managed Accounts. In this role, as an essential member of the investment team, you will help expand the sales of our established product line and build the distribution of our investment solutions. To be successful, you will need the skillset of a top-notch sales professional and that of a project manager. 

In support of marketing, you will play a key role in spreading the message of our firm. This role is a hybrid role with the expectation you will be on the road 3-4 weeks/month working with our distribution partners to sell our products and the remainder of the time in the office working with the investment team. You will create materials, presentations, documents, and handle logistics for the product presentations and expansion of the platforms that offer PCM products. 


Responsibilities

  • Travel 60% of the time
  • Conduct product presentations multiple times per day, multiple days per week
  • Conduct investment research and create reports
  • Analyze economic trends/activities and advise the effects on client portfolios
  • Support the senior members of the investment team in their delivery of investment solutions to clients.
  • Recommend changes to advisors’ portfolios after evaluating the economic, financial, and market factors
  • Attend internal and external meetings to stay current on financial markets, products, and services
  • Assist Advisors with ongoing financial planning for clients and referral source management
  • Create, update, and maintain presentations for CIO
  • Coordinate and manage logistical details for CIO live media appearances and private briefs
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capable of working independently and within teams
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Superior analytical skills; strong computer skills; high proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong background and working knowledge of financial products (ETFs, UITs, SMAs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Licensing: Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent)

 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Our ideal candidate would be an intellectually curious college graduate with a strong academic record and a positive attitude
  • BA degree with a concentration in economics, finance, mathematics, business administration, commerce accounting, or similar quantitative field
  • Military experience a plus
