This contract is ongoing and 5 days in Midtown NYC. This consultant will be responsible for monitoring any operational processes within the QCU team, assisting with RCSA testing and coordinating for any risk assessments that need to be completed.

Client Details

Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With its full-fledged services, our client specializes in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.

Description

  • Conduct departmental periodic QA/QC including but not limited KYC, Transaction Monitoring, TTMS
  • Establish and improve the procedures within the QCU team
  • Review transactions/customers in view of the departmental control procedures and identify areas of improvements
  • Prepare reports and analytics as needed
  • Identify, assess, monitor and report operating, compliance, & reputational risks/issues for department
  • Escalate risk issues appropriately as needed
  • Conduct departmental Control Testing
  • Assist in managing audit and regulatory requests as central point of contact
  • Conduct quality reviews of documentation

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience is required
  • Experience in Risk Assessment related experience
  • Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret general business literature is required
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Good communication skills is required
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Strong knowledge on BSA, AML, US Patriot Act, OFAC, CIP Regulations and consumer complianc
  • General knowledge and understanding of bank deposit operations and other related commercial banking and compliance functions
