About the Role:

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our fashion products. You will be responsible for inspecting gowns, managing cross-functional collaborations, and ensuring that all production processes are followed accurately. This is a dynamic role that requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of gowns for fabric defects, dirt, and sewing issues.
  • Verify that SKUs match order numbers and ensure all fabrication details meet order specifications.
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to manage and report failed gowns.
  • Ensure failed gowns are correctly processed and placed for further action.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to ensure correct shipping placements.
  • Track and manage the movement of items from QC to shipping.
  • Ensure production schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist others in recording QC’d units and managing production schedules.
  • Adjust to changing priorities and urgent needs, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Take initiative in decision-making, especially in determining gown pass/fail status.
  • Maintain efficiency and aim to meet production goals ahead of deadlines.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality control within the fashion industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct meticulous inspections.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage and maintain accurate production schedules.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Experience with garment production and knowledge of SKU management is preferred.
