We are currently seeking a Production Manager for our plant n Cedarburg, WI that produces fluid milk and cream. In this role you will lead and coordinate the activities of production and other plant employees engaged in the production or load-out of dairy products to ensure safety, quality, cost, and customer standards are met. This position reports to the Director, Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited

  • o: Ensure Production Supervisors work effectively with unionized employees to promote positive and productive working relationships. Partner with Human Resources and Plant Manager to resolve employee grievances when file
  • d. Direct the overall activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, and produced at the lowest possible cost to meet the customer’s requirements while maintaining established safety and quality standard
  • s. Analyze plant operations and key metrics to ensure that the facility maintains high quality and safety standards as we continue to maintain our leadership position in the indust
  • ry.Understand and fulfill the requirements of SQF 2000 Level 3 code of regulation for food safety and quality. Foster continuous improvement to maintain the SQF 2000 Level 3 certificati
  • on.Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are developed and maintained for all aspects of the busine
  • ss.Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Compa
  • ny.Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegati
  • ng.Provide management of employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances or other contract related activities and discussion
