Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager – 1st shift for to join their dairy plant in Cedarburg, WI. In this role, you will collaborate with the plant engineer in utilizing equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS).


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Utilize mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.

· Manage employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. (If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances or other contract related activities and discussions).

· HVAC, Electrical, Boiler, etc. experience

· Administer the maintenance and capital projects for the site.

· Utilize the CMMS to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.

· Implement corrective actions identified by key maintenance performance indicators to create overall equipment effectiveness.

· Stay informed with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.

· Ensure corporate policies and standards are followed in both capital project implementation as well as daily maintenance.

· Adhere to Company policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.


Experience:

  • Maintenance Supervision: 3 years
  • food manufacturing: 1 year
  • Ammonia refrigeration: 1 year
  • PLC experience
  • Filler and Blow Mold equipment experience
