Duties:

  • Design and detailing of building structures utilizing wood, steel, concrete and masonry construction materials
  • Develop structural analysis model (2D & 3D) utilizing RAM Steel and Ram Elements analysis software
  • Inspect project sites and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes.
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to other project members and contractors.
  • Develop construction documents that include structural framing plans, foundation and superstructure detailing, notes, specifications and typical construction details.
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Client management


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of building design experience (commercial buildings)
  • PE or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience with RAM, Enercalc, AutoCAD, and similar software
  • Experience leading projects and staff
