Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) (FullTime)

Location: Alief Independent School District (Partnered with Fidelity Partners)
Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation (Standard Form 85)
Type of Employment: FullTime 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

The Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) will assess and address the psychological and emotional needs of students in the district. You will be responsible for providing psychoeducational evaluations consulting with teachers and implementing behavior interventions to support student mental health and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform psychological assessments for emotional behavioral and learning concerns.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Participate in ARD meetings and help design IEPs tailored to the psychological needs of students.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when necessary.
  • Collaborate with educators families and other mental health professionals to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
  • Texas Licensure as an LSSP.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and assessment procedures.
  • Experience in working within a school system preferred.
