We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our team Our growth is your opportunity for growth If you are seeking a dynamic workplace backed by supportive team members and competitive benefits then we might be the firm for you What you will do: Supervise a motivated team of professionals and ensure that they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential. Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns and related extensions and estimates Answer ad-hoc tax-related inquiries and handle federal, state and local tax notices Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal and state tax topics Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations; performance in-depth tax search, deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations What you need to bring: BA/BS degree in Accounting, or Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation Public accounting experience required 5+ years of experience in federal and state income tax prep Experience managing a team CCH Axcess tax experience preferred Excellent research, writing and communication skills Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Demonstrates responsibility, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively as a team player Preferred Qualifications: CPA preferred Strong corporate tax compliance ProSystem fx Engagement experience is a plus Benefits: We understand that talented individuals are drawn to companies that offer comprehensive benefits packages.
