Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at The Misfit Restaurant + Bar. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu development, and staff supervision. You will collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute innovative dishes while ensuring high-quality standards and food safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of farm-to-table cooking
  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety regulations
  • Creativity in developing new dishes and menus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
