All our pieces are cut and sewn right in the heart of New York City, and quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail are our top priorities. With an eye towards creating wearable art, we have created multiple collections with talented artists worldwide to bridge the gap between art and style -- transforming their sketchpad visions into ready-to-wear apparel. At JŪN, we strive to provide a sort of gallery that exhibits the imaginations of creatives and blends it with the bustling streets we proudly call home.
Role Description
We are looking for a part-time digital content creator who is based in New York (can work remotely from home). Expected workload to be around 5 hours / week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, produce, and execute social media content (short and long-form content) for our IG and TikTok pages, especially using NYC as part of our narrative.
- Apply strategic insights to develop content that is on brand and will enhance our engagement / image.
- Draft, edit, and offer support to team on social media captions.
- Attend JŪN team meetings as necessary for check ins, concept meetings, etc.
Qualifications
- Prior experience creating content for brands across various social media platforms
- Avid user of social media with an understanding of the landscape, trends, formats and evolving nature of platforms
- Highly in-tune with audio and visual trends, as well as internet memes, language, and culture
- Eager to explore innovative ideas and solutions in content development
- Experience in making, shooting, and editing TikTok and Instagram content
- Confident with both traditional and app-based editing tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Acute attention to detail
- NYC-based and ready to travel around the city as needed for content creation purposes
- Experience or interest in fashion is a plus
