Our client, a B2B SaaS company, is looking for a Freelance Web Project Manager for a remote 3-month contract working 20-hours/week. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the redesign of their website, ensuring that it meets both their organizational objectives and the needs of their users. You will be responsible for managing the timeline and resources of the project, working closely with back-end developers and UX designers to ensure a seamless and successful delivery. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within defined timelines.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for the website redesign project.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, design, and development teams, to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to create user-centric designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Manage a small team of back-end developers, providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to track progress, identify potential risks, and mitigate issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and dependencies to key stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Monitor and manage project resources, including budget allocation and vendor relationships, to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.


Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management with a focus on website/UX projects.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
  • Experience working with back-end developers and UX designers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
