**Freelance videographer for Social Media Content Creation in NYC**

We are looking for a skilled freelance videographer to shoot videos for social media content creation on location in New York City.
- The minimum time requirement is one day per week for at least two weeks per month.
- Equipment can be provided as needed.
- Payment will be on an hourly basis according to the videographer’s rate.

People’s Choice Communications is an employee-owned multi-stakeholder cooperative formed by Local 3 members on strike against Spectrum Cable. We partnered with customers and leveraged our extensive experience building NYC’s cable system to create something new. We provide internet access to underserved areas of the city using fixed-point wireless technology. Our model is designed to include the public in the ownership of the system and reinvest profits from member subscriptions back into the communities. We believe access to the internet is a necessity, and that control should be in the hands of the workers who build it and the customers who use it. We aim to create long-lasting socioeconomic change within the communities we serve.
- Capture high-quality videos on location in NYC for social media platforms.
- Collaborate with our creative team to produce content that aligns with our brand vision.
- Ensure all videos meet technical and aesthetic standards.
- Edit footage as needed to create polished, professional videos. (preferred not required)
- Familiarity with social media trends and video formats.
- Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Availability for a minimum of one day per week for at least two weeks per month.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

Ability to Relocate:

- New York, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
