DIBS is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team, reporting to our National Field & Events Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building positive brand awareness in a B&M setting through implementing field sales, education, training, and event strategies. This role also involves the management, scheduling and continual development of freelancers in key markets. A passion for the beauty industry and a motivation to leverage your experience by building strong retailer and consumer relationships while emulating DIBS values are a must. NOTE: Although we are Texas-headquartered, we are hiring for national coverage and will evaluate applicants based on their experience across regions (West, Central and East).


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Brand Awareness and Sales Growth.
  • Utilize all available resources and strategies to drive sales and brand growth within the assigned region and within established budgets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase brand visibility and drive sales in B&M channels.
  • Analyze market-specific needs and develop action plans to optimize productivity at each location.
  • Utilize sales reports to assess opportunities, trends, call cycles, and productivity, driving informed decision-making.
  • Recommend best practices and process enhancements to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain brand consistency and visual standards across retail locations, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Stay informed about competitive trends and provide insights to inform assortment decisions and strategies.
  • Foster professional, dynamic relationships with retailer employees:

Cultivate strong relationships with all levels of retailer staff through education, training, and regular business review meetings.

Ensure proper communication and evaluation to optimize inventory levels at store and corporate levels.


Events and Training 

  • Develop and execute branded training and event programs to enhance brand awareness and increase market share.
  • Engage in hands-on field selling and training alongside retailers and freelance team members.
  • Educate store and field teams on product knowledge to create brand champions and expand the customer base.
  • Manage all aspects of branded store events, including pre-event planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a successful team of freelancers
  • Recruit, train, and support a team of Freelancers who embody DIBS values and contribute to company objectives.
  • Evaluate business requirements and schedule freelance staff accordingly, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an Account Executive in beauty (Ulta, Nordstrom, Sephora experience) 
  • A proven track record of achieving personal and territory sales goals and events
  • Proficiency with sales analysis and budget management
  • Ability to speak to a group, inspire and motivate teams with previous experience managing & developing a freelance team
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive & effective business partnerships
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with high level of energy and motivation
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner 
  • Competitive drive balanced with team oriented, positive attitude
  • Growth mindset that translates into a passion for the consumer in a fun and fresh way
  • Quick-thinking hands-on, strategic problem-solver
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Outlook/Google docs, sheets and slides
