Position Summary

Civil Engineer IV

Deer Park, TX

Long term position with CDI Site Team

9-80 work schedule, Mondays & Fridays REMOTE

Refers to developing, directing, problem solving, and applying technical, scientific, and mathematical knowledge and methods to design, implement, and achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products, processes, or events in the civil and structural engineering discipline.


Qualifications

Civil Engineer experience in Oil and Gas (Refining/Chemical site) in a running plant support or project support focused on onshore structural design.

Experience in Asset Intergrity Managment.

Experience in Design of Civil Structures (Steel & Concrete).

Design of Civil Structures (Steel & Concrete).

Knowledge of Groundworks & Enabling Infrastructure.

Safety in Civil Design.

Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.


Education Requirements

BS Civil Engineer Degree


Responsibilities

Civil Engineer experience in Oil and Gas (Refining/Chemical site) in a running plant support or project support focused on onshore structural design.

Design activities concentrate on routine topics (guided by procedures or multiple precedents).

Works as an autonomous Discipline Engineer, translates the guidelines and standards into practice and solves common technical challenges. Works within company standards and policies under defined directions while receiving occasional guidance on techniques.

Integrates discipline activities to achieve delivery through a defined process.

Performs tasks within design, operation, or maintenance of facilities/plant, interfacing with stakeholders and managing contractors. Indicative: responsible for a budget - TO BE COMPLETED FOR EACH JOB DESCRIPTION, AS REQUIRED.

Manages the relation with multiple (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on tactical level. Scale and severity of consequences if things go wrong are limited, involving some stakeholder management.
