National Business Development RepresentativeA growing company is adding a National Business Development Representative to its Commercial Waste Services team. This is a hunter-style, new business sales role focused on selling recurring commercial waste and recycling services and building long-term, profitable customer relationships.You'll have the backing of an established brand, strong operations, and ongoing sales training (including Sandler Sales Training) while you focus on bringing in new customers and revenue.What This Person Will DoHunt for New Business Proactively prospect and develop a pipeline of commercial accountsEngage decision-makers, educate them on service differentiation, and win new recurring businessDrive a Sales Strategy Execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales quotasConduct onsite visits, present solutions, negotiate contracts, and close dealsCollaborate & Follow Through Partner with pricing and implementation teams to ensure smooth start-upMaintain strong relationships after the sale to drive satisfaction and referralsUse Data & Tools Track activities, pipeline, and results in CRMProvide accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly forecastingRepresent the Brand Attend selected networking events and trade showsTravel regionally as needed to support growthIdeal Background2+ years of outside "hunter" sales experience , preferably selling services or recurring revenue solutionsExperience in waste & recycling or related industries is a plus but not requiredHighly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely with field travelCompensation & Earning PotentialCommission: One-time commission payouts tied to contract length and gross profitLonger-term contracts pay higher commission (for example, 60-month terms pay more than 12-month terms)Recurring revenue services (monthly service/rent/haul) are commission-eligibleThis structure rewards reps who:Win profitable, long-term contractsBuild a strong recurring revenue portfolioConsistently bring in new business month after monthBenefits & SupportMedical (health, dental, vision)401(k) & Roth 401(k) optionsPTO & holidaysCar allowance + travel/expense budgetLong & short-term disability, life insuranceCompany events and ongoing Sandler Sales TrainingAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
