Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities


  • Report at board level on any questions relating to finance. Able to “Tell the Story”, responsible to understand and defend accuracy of financials
  • Manage cashflow, plan for future cash requirements
  • Manage bank relationships and strategy, including investment strategies, manage foreign exchange – securing competitive rates for future needs
  • Create annual budget, maintain rolling forecast and provide confidence for the future
  • Accountable for financial KPI’s, work with department managers to correct course/improve


Qualifications


  • Multi Company, Multi Currency, Manufacturing Understanding and Experience
  • Experience as controller – understanding of the various inputs to financial reporting
  • CPA or equivalent
  • Ability to lead a team, with confidence and presence – ability to motivate staff
  • ERP system experience – Epicor preferred
  • Experience with M&A
  • Experience with external auditors, compliance and internal control system requirements.


Metrics


  • Consistent monthly financial reporting, complete within 10 calendar days of month end
  • Day Sales Outstanding 50% of EBITDA
