STS Aviation Group is a leading provider of aerospace solutions. We are seeking a diligent Billing Specialist to join our remote team, preferably located near Jensen Beach, Florida.
Position Summary
The Billing Specialist will prepare and submit customer billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. This role requires strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities to manage customer invoices and financial records efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customer invoices from field level input.
- Enter and maintain customer and contractual information in the billing system.
- Ensure invoices comply with contractual terms.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies by checking account transactions.
- Enter data onto spreadsheets, ledgers, and other forms.
- Maintain financial records and accurate, organized files.
- Communicate with operations as needed.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of general ledger and trial balance.
