Job Responsibilities:


  • Overall responsibility for ensuring timely and cost-effective production, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by regularly reviewing budget to define P&L and to ensure monthly budget expectations are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement of company core values, including valuing people, ethics, safety and environmental leadership,
  • Remove production constraints, allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, as appropriate, to reduce cost and increase production efficiencies.
  • Actively support LEAN and 6-S initiatives, encouraging participation from all departments,
  • Manage the collective efforts of the Plant Safety Committee and Plant safety efforts.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors’ degree Bachelors OR Equivalent Experience with 8 years plus of progressive experience in a key.
  • Bilingual - Spanish and English.
  • Leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility - chemical manufacturing experience would be a plus.
  • Candidates with Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be given preferred consideration.
  • Possess strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
