We are seeking a Bilingual (Eng/Spa) Manager to work at the HQ of one of our most trusted clients, a leading manufacturer that serves the O&G, Energy and Telecommunication industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for ensuring timely and cost-effective production, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by regularly reviewing budget to define P&L and to ensure monthly budget expectations are met.
- Drive continuous improvement of company core values, including valuing people, ethics, safety and environmental leadership,
- Remove production constraints, allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, as appropriate, to reduce cost and increase production efficiencies.
- Actively support LEAN and 6-S initiatives, encouraging participation from all departments,
- Manage the collective efforts of the Plant Safety Committee and Plant safety efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree Bachelors OR Equivalent Experience with 8 years plus of progressive experience in a key.
- Bilingual - Spanish and English.
- Leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility - chemical manufacturing experience would be a plus.
- Candidates with Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be given preferred consideration.
- Possess strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
