This role is fulltime and onsite position with 5 days in the Roseland, NJ office.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with clients, lawyers, corporate service companies, and government agencies, cultivating professional relationships and providing proactive support to address inquiries and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Oversee administrative and legal tasks for the company's subsidiaries and assist in corporate governance activities.
  • Support legal teams in complex transactions, including drafting corporate documents, assisting with due diligence projects, and managing closing preparations and post-closing responsibilities.
  • Work with clients, colleagues, and other parties on various legal matters, including navigating cross-border requirements for corporate documents.
  • Support occasional financing or similar transactions and ad hoc projects.
  • Assist in managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to support billing processes and invoice preparation.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience as a legal assistant in a dynamic legal environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook, with the ability to understand document management systems such as NetDocuments.
