B2B Sales Rep/Account Manager

The B2B Sales Rep/Account Manager at Shaffer Entertainment is a pivotal role focused on driving new business development and client renewals. This individual will forge new customer relationships and enhance existing ones. The role involves extensive 'on the streets' interaction with clients, leveraging leads to forge new connections. The B2B Sales Rep/Account Manager is tasked with revenue growth and retention for Shaffer Columbus, our flagship market.
Duties include:
- Canvassing the assigned territory for new business
- Following up on leads through phone, email, and in-person sales techniques
- Negotiating and closing deals with Shaffer's approved vending agreements
Regular customer location visits are required, both proactively and in response to needs, with approximately 60% of time dedicated to customer renewals and relationship enhancement, and 40% to new business acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of Account Management or Route Sales experience with a demonstrated success record.
- Comfort with cold-calling and using technology to log sales activities.
- A commitment to providing consistent, high-quality service to customers, peers, and management.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to construct and present customer presentations and contracts.
- Self-motivation and goal orientation.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
