Strategic Account ExecutiveThe Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our Public Sector organization. In this role, you will primarily sell to Civilian agencies. You'll expand Red Hat's existing customer base, sell cutting edge Red Hat solutions and encourage the fast adoption of the Red Hat portfolio of offerings. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will work closely with a cross functional team of pre-sales resources, product engineering, professional services, and product support teams to ensure an excellent customer experience with Red Hat's offerings. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.What you will do:Sell the complete Red Hat solutions portfolio, including Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, Ansible and professional servicesWork closely with cross functional team to identify key projects, programs, and offices to sell Red Hat's solutionsAdvise senior IT and C-level executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships with customersManage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing; maintain sustainable revenue across technologiesDevelop new solutions strategies within key accounts to establish proofs of concepts and guide implementations of Red Hat's solutionsManage the account planning process and delivery of strategic plansWhat you will bring:6+ years of solutions sales experience, with 2+ of those years focused on selling directly to the U.S. federal governmentSolid understanding of the open source model, AI, DevSecOps, and IT ModernizationExperience working in a consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software companyExcellent written and verbal communications skills, including experience presenting to C-level executives at large companiesBroad understanding of the government acquisition process within the civilian governmentAbility to maintain a sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and solutionsThe salary range for this position is $267,280.00 - $441,160.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
