Social Media Coordinator

This is a remote position.

The Social Media Coordinator supports the marketing team by managing the organization s social media presence across various platforms. This role involves creating and scheduling content engaging with followers analyzing performance metrics and implementing strategies to grow the brand s online community. The position requires a strong understanding of social media trends content creation and digital marketing best practices with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members.

  • Develop schedule and publish engaging content across social media platforms including text images videos and other multimedia formats.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to manage daytoday social media activities including responding to comments messages and mentions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with designers copywriters and other team members to create compelling social media campaigns that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Monitor social media channels to track performance metrics such as engagement rates follower growth and reach providing regular reports to the team.
  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies staying updated with the latest trends and platform updates to optimize content.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments questions and direct messages fostering positive relationships with followers.
  • Prepare and maintain content calendars ensuring all posts are planned approved and scheduled according to campaign timelines.
  • Conduct social media audits to identify areas for improvement suggesting adjustments to content tone and posting frequency.
  • Research industry trends competitor activity and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy adjustments.
  • Assist in creating paid social media advertising campaigns including setting up ad targeting monitoring performance and optimizing for better results.
  • Provide input on improving social media processes tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and enhance engagement.
  • Support the management of influencer partnerships coordinating content tracking deliverables and ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Assist with social media contests giveaways and other promotional activities coordinating logistics and tracking participation.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends algorithms and platform updates participating in training and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Ensure all content meets the organization s brand guidelines and is aligned with legal ethical and platform standards.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing PR and customer service to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed including content creation campaign reporting and market research.
  • Other duties as assigned.
