Director of Nursing / Charge Nurse Position at Cherry Hill Women's Center
- Full-time role from Tuesday to Saturday with no overnight shifts or holidays
Cherry Hill Women's Center is a well-established state licensed ambulatory surgical center dedicated to providing top-quality abortion and reproductive healthcare services for more than 45 years.
Our team is passionate about supporting individuals in need of legal, safe, and compassionate abortion care, as well as offering assistance with adoption services and prenatal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care and staff support, including tasks such as pre-procedure medical assessment and recovery room nursing
- Participation in student nurse training
- Supporting clinical oversight of nursing and medical staff
- Assistance in developing and maintaining policies and procedures related to clinical services
- Facilitating orientation and training programs for new hires
We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Registered Nurses with a strong work ethic and a sense of humor to join our team. The ideal candidates should be motivated to contribute positively to the community, thrive in a diverse patient environment, excel in multitasking, and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced workplace. Proficiency in IV insertion and fluency in more than one language are desirable. Previous supervisory and managerial experience is a plus.
Qualifications for the Director of Nursing / Charge Nurse:
- Effective communication skills
- Outstanding patient care abilities
- Intermediate computer proficiency (experience with Electronic Health Records is a bonus)
- Capability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience
- High standards, attention to detail, and dedication to the organization's mission and values
- Leadership skills with a respectful and positive approach to team management
