Position Overview: As the Vice President of Sales at Mavely, you will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Revenue, you will oversee a sales team of 4-5+ Sales Directors, develop sales strategies, and build relationships with key stakeholders to expand our market presence and drive customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand Mavely's customer base of retail and CPG clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and agencies to drive partnership opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Manage the sales team pipeline and Hubspot CRM activity with accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Revenue, affiliate team, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Represent Mavely at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our platform and build brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years proven experience as a sales leader in influencer marketing, social commerce, or affiliate marketing industry, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset. Having the ability to identify data that solves client objectives.
  • Strong understanding of social media, influencer marketing, and e-commerce trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower a sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
