Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Spacecraft Avionics Engineer. In this role, you will be designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for our satellites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced avionics systems for satellites.
  • Perform detailed analysis and testing of avionics components.
  • Collaborate with research engineers to drive innovation and contribute to the company's intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
  • Integrate avionics systems with other satellite subsystems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to avionics hardware and software.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Document design processes, test results, and system performance.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in spacecraft systems avionics engineering.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software development for avionics systems.
  • Experience with satellite communication systems and space technology.
  • Experience in Flight Software / Avionics.
  • Experience in Digital Electronics (FPGA) / Embedded Systems.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and software simulations.
  • Experience with Spacecraft Operations.
  • Experience with RF systems
  • Familiarity with satellite ground systems and launch operations.
