Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Summary

Synectics Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for our satellites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced avionics systems for satellites.
  • Perform detailed analysis and testing of avionics components.
  • Collaborate with research engineers to drive innovation and contribute to the company's intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
  • Integrate avionics systems with other satellite subsystems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to avionics hardware and software.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Document design processes, test results, and system performance.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in spacecraft systems avionics engineering.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software development for satellite avionics systems.
  • Experience in handling, assembling, and testing space flight hardware.
  • Experience developing and reviewing electrical block diagrams.
  • Experience in satellite harness design and specification.
  • Experience designing and assembling PCBA's.
  • Experience working with ESD protocols.
  • Experience working in clean room environments.
  • Familiarity with Digital Electronics (FPGA) / Embedded Systems.
  • Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and software simulations.
  • Familiarity with Spacecraft Operations.
  • Familiarity with RF systems.
  • Familiarity with satellite ground systems and launch operations.
  • Excited to be in the lab working on electrical engineering as an individual contributor.
