Our client is seeking a Big Data Engineer who will accomplish the end to end build of the pipeline and data harmonization component to enable insight generation for executive and channels to take proactive action on time. This job is located in Irving, Texas.


Duties:

  • Design, develop, and implement software based on requirements
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the support team for code deployment
  • Collaborate with team members to follow process, procedures, and data security
  • Diligently team with the infrastructure, network, database, application, and business intelligence teams to guarantee high data quality and availability

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands on experience on Google Cloud Platform including BQ, AirFlow, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc
  • 5+ years of experience on Teradata Utilities (Bteq, Mload, Tpump, QG, and Fast Export)
  • 3+ years of experience in Python
  • Knowledge of Teradata and Bigdata Technology
  • Knowledge of UNIX
  • Working knowledge of database (Teradata) and SQL (Structured Query Language)
  • Knowledge on Jenkins, Jira, Git, DAGs, Airflow etc.
