Senior Account Manager - Employee Benefits Health And WelfareAlera Group is looking for a Senior Account Manager - Employee Benefits Health and Welfare. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.ResponsibilitiesAccount management including escalated claim research and resolutionDaily communication with internal and external clientsNew group implementation, coordinate internally and set up external vendors, including, but not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Worksite, COBRA, HSA, FSA, HRA, LOAs, FMLA servicesClient liaison, problem solvingProject implementation and completionReview and interpret documents and contractsEmployee education, conduct meetings, and employee communication materialsLead the required peer-review of employee communications materialConduct employee education recordings, webinars as neededWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment with many demandsAbility to multi-taskOrganizational skills, prioritizing, and meet deadlinesBe proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAttend training sessions to stay updated on product, regulation, or policy changesHave strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBuild internal and external relationshipsQualificationsUndergraduate college degree preferred; or experience equivalent consideredLife and Health Insurance State License requiredInsurance carrier, benefits administration, and/or insurance brokerage experience required.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the following:Fully-insured and Self-funding health plansWellness programs, dental, life, short- and long-term disabilityRegulatory environment of employee benefit plansAbility to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with little or no supervisionComputer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint including strong proficiency in verifying financial spreadsheetsAdditional InformationThis job is fully remote.Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.Where required (including remote): Salary range is $95K to $105K per year.We're an equal opportunity employer.
