Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Corporate Controller to join our dynamic team. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and providing strategic financial guidance to support the companys growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage external audits ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and decisionmaking.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • System Implementation: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage company expenses identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 710 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Attributes: Detailoriented highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
