Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with the Workplace Services Supervisor to maintain and enhance daily office services, facility operations, and support tenant improvement projects. You will serve as a liaison between building management, engineering teams, and various facility maintenance stakeholders. Additionally, you will represent the Real Estate and Workplace Services team locally, assisting with front desk operations, office administration, and event support. A high level of customer service is essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment through regular maintenance and general upkeep of the facility.
  • Follow safety standards and best practices for all facilities-related tasks, including active participation in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • Respond to incoming requests via the Ticketing Portal, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Identify health and safety hazards, maintenance issues, and repair needs, taking appropriate action and promptly notifying management.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with REWS department members, on-site customers, vendors, and building management.
  • Conduct weekly facility inspections, update repair and maintenance task lists, and support space planning audits.
  • Provide hospitality and professionalism in all interactions with guests and employees, managing expectations effectively.
  • Support front desk operations as needed, including visitor assistance, badge assignment, mail/package handling, and conference room set-ups.
  • Independently manage tasks with minimal supervision and provide support for event setups and configurations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in facilities planning.
  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities or Office Services roles, ideally in a high-growth, large-scale facility.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of critical utility systems, HVAC, and emergency power systems.
  • Proficiency in G-Mail, G-Cal, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of basic budget management principles.
