Overview:


Olympic West Fire Protection, LLC (a Sentinel Safety & Security entity), a leader in the fire protection industry, is seeking a Construction Manager to play a pivotal role as part of the overall operations


The Construction Manager will be responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the management and execution of all construction projects in a cost-effective manner. The key responsibilities include leading and managing union field managers, budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of projects. Expertise in field operations management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving issues, and delivering successful construction projects.

Construction Manger Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with all functional areas to plan, execute, and complete projects on time and budget.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Work as liaison with clients and internal departments to facilitate construction activities.
  • Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Coordinate daily with field operation superintendents and assigned subcontractors to ensure contractual conditions of performance and progress of jobs stay on target.
  • Provide internal and external reports demonstrating job status.
  • Designate tools, materials, and equipment while ensuring inventory tracking.
  • Proactive and reactive problem-solving.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.


Construction Manger Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience within a fire sprinkler company.
  • Must have experience in operations or project management within the fire sprinkler industry.
  • Union Sprinkler Fitters (669) knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in construction management principles and practices.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, management processes, resources, methods, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and understand all construction documents, blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
  • Possess proficiency in utilizing construction management software.
  • Strong communication skills, time management, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture.”
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
