Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the injection molding engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Develop and optimize injection molding processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of injection molding projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of injection molding technologies, materials, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to injection molding processes.
  • Ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and government regulations.


Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in injection molding or plastics engineering are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other process improvement methodologies.
