Position: Quality Technician

Location: Sauk Rapids, MN

Type: Full-time Direct Hire

Hours: 1st shift

Pay: Starting at $18/hr. & up based on experience.



Job Summary:

As a Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Doing this through compliance with quality standards and procedures through continual improvement, supporting the delivery of on-time, defect-free products that meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform multiple different tests on our plastics material during different stages of production.
  • Inspection of completed skids and pallets for labeling and packaging.
  • Operate office equipment and use software applications such as Access, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Utilize calipers, micrometers, and various testing machines to ensure plastics meet specifications.
  • Perform measurements and quality control tasks using computers, scales, and rulers.


Skills and Abilities:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Strong dependability and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask with strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records.
  • Knowledge of computer skills and software.
  • Willing to learn new skills and train.



Physical Requirements:

  • Normal vision or vision corrected to a normal range.
  • Ability to distinguish differences in color and texture.
  • Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time in an office setting.
