The Enterprise Account Executive will play an integral role in developing the territory and will focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in new customer acquisition and revenue growth, driving Verkada's mission to modernize physical security solutions for enterprise organizations.With Verkada's consistent year over year growth, now is the perfect time to join the sales team. This is an outstanding career option for an enthusiastic sales professional looking to further their career in a fast paced dynamic environment while also being part of a rapidly growing start-up.This position reports to the Regional Sales Director, Growth (Corporate - Southeast). Candidates for this role must be located in the Southeast section of the United States.You Will:Dedicate at least 40% of your time to field-based sales activities away from the workplace, including customer meetings, site visits, and relationship-building.Develop and implement a comprehensive territory planManage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics and quota, with a strong emphasis on generating net new business sales. This includes prospecting and outreach, providing product demos and trials, and engaging in strategic negotiations with customers and channel partnersMeet or exceed individual targets and contribute to the overall team and company success. This includes proactively penetrating greenfield accounts and achieving a quarterly quota of at least 2-3 qualified net new logosInitiate and manage expansion discussions to drive customer retention. This includes identifying customers' goals and requirements, including budgetary constraints and key decision makersDevise a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy and partner with Verkada's channel partner sales organization to establish channel partner initiatives that result in a minimum of 5 deal registrations each quarterDrive business growth and enhance market presence and help enterprise organizations modernize their physical security solutions through a combination of customer engagements, marketing campaigns, executive briefings, industry conferences, events and physical security market knowledge/intelligenceGain an in-depth and detailed understanding of Verkada's business and products, as well as the physical security market to confidently sell to C-level executives within Enterprise organizationsCreate effective presentations and proposals; create urgency to drive deal closure, negotiate pricing and contractual agreementsProvide account analysis, conduct quarterly business reviews, and generate accurate revenue forecastsYour Role:Drive New Business: Focus on generating net new business sales by prospecting greenfield accounts, executing outreach, and closing new logos. Meet or exceed quarterly quotas of a dedicated amount of net new logos.Territory Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to identify new opportunities, penetrate untapped accounts, and establish Verkada's presence in the region.Strategic Selling: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, product demos, negotiations, and deal closure, with a focus on longer, complex sales cycles targeting enterprise decision-makers.Field Presence: Spend up to 50% of your time traveling to engage with prospects and customers, ensuring a hands-on approach to driving new business.Collaborative Growth: Partner with Verkada's channel sales organization to build initiatives that generate at least five deal registrations per quarter and drive revenue through channel partners.Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, delivering compelling presentations, creating urgency to close deals, and driving customer adoption and retention through industry knowledge and expertise.Market Leadership: Represent Verkada at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and enhance market presence.What You Bring:Sales Expertise: 510+ years of quota-carrying B2B software/hardware technology sales experience with a proven ability to build and grow a greenfield territory. At least 3+ years in Enterprise sales preferred.Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring net new logos and landing major accounts against incumbents, with awards and references to support your achievements.Hunter Mentality: A strong desire to win, a process-driven approach (e.g., MEDDIC), and the ability to manage longer sales cycles with Fortune 1000 executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, CFO).Field Sales Focus: Willingness to maintain a strong field presence multiple days per week and travel up to 50% of the time; must reside in the assigned territory.Technical Knowledge: Experience selling highly technical solutions in security software, physical security, hardware, computer networking, SaaS, or Cloud software is a plus.Channel Collaboration: Background in working with internal and external channel partner teams to drive sales success is advantageous.Personal Traits: Self-motivated, tenacious, intellectually curious, with high IQ and EQ.
