Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.

We are seeking an experienced (2 years of Level 1 experience) CST to join our team specializing in general surgery.

This service includes EGS, pediatrics, thoracic, DaVinci Robots, burns, and whipples.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): 1:4 weekends

Call Requirements: one overnight call, 11p-7a for Trauma call, if on a specialty team, call will be scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience

Preferred Skillset/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular

Type of Patients on Unit: Operating Room

Proof of driver’s license required to apply
