LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization in Batavia, IL and they are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Manager. You will play a crucial role in managing the HR function within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures, while also overseeing day-to-day HR activities. Fluency in Spanish is essential, as you will be working with a bilingual workforce. Competitive Salary and Benefits Package (PTO, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance) are offered.


Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with safety regulations and driving HR policy and procedure development. You will also be responsible for HR compliance with relevant laws, providing training and development opportunities, and assisting in succession planning. Additionally, you will handle employee relations matters, administer employee benefits and 401K programs, and manage workers' compensation processes.


Having full HR Generalist experience is crucial for this role, as you will be involved in various aspects of HR, including safety, policy development, compliance, training, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, and workers' compensation.


If you have experience in a unionized environment, it would be considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop HR initiatives while still being open to handling day-to-day HR activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR activities while focusing on strategic planning.
  • Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Drive HR policy and procedure development and implementation.
  • Ensure HR compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for employees.
  • Assist in succession planning activities.
  • Manage performance management processes.
  • Handle employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
  • Administer employee benefits and 401K programs.
  • Oversee workers' compensation processes.



Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Tactical and strategic HR experience.
  • Experience working with both plant and corporate employees.
  • Ability to manage 1 direct report.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Human Resources or a related field).
  • Union experience is a plus.
