Development Security Operations Engineer


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development, operations, and security teams to build, deploy, and manage AWS cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
  • Establish and support security measures and operations within AWS.
  • Design and build automated server and application status monitoring systems in the infrastructure.
  • Participate in the development of end-to-end infrastructure management and support.
  • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
  • Help automate and streamline operations and processes; develop and manage CI/CD process for all applications.
  • lead the response on production issues, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and robustly implement security measurements, protocols, and standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in DevOps, Security and Infrastructure or similar software engineering role.
  • Proficient with AWS and experience in securing AWS environments.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, etc.
  • Strong experience in DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) best practices.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment, as well as automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing security protocols and knowledge of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills.

**Biotech, Life Sciences, Regulatory, Insurance type experience is REQUIRED **
