City Of Portland - Airport Master ElectricianThe Portland International Jetport is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Engineering and Facilities Department. Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, this position involves technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the terminal and parking garage. The Aviation & Transportation Department offers a $1,500 sign-on and $2,500 relocation bonus available to qualifying external applicants.Requirements:Must possess a valid State of Maine Master Electricians licenseConsiderable knowledge of best practices, materials, tools, and equipment of the Electrical tradeSkill in locating and correcting defects in many different types of electrical systemsAbility to pass all required background investigations and maintain a valid Class C Maine Drivers LicenseTraining & Experience Desired:Prior electrician or facilities experience in a large and/or industrial facilitySuccessful completion of TSA background check (TSR Part 1542)Who You Are:A positive leader who motivates your team to do their bestReady to learn and stay on top of airport regulationsA team player who works well with others but can also get the job done independentlyExpected Hours/Schedule:40-hour schedule, Monday-Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm.Accepting applications until position is filled.
