divh2Security Specialist/h2pAmentum is seeking a Security Specialist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Office of Security (SIS) in Springfield, VA. Duties may include:/pulliObtain Access to Special Access Program (SAP), Control Access Program (CAP) and/or Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) Information as required for the execution of NGAs Sensitive Program Mission/liliProvide subject matter expertise, assistance, recommendations, and hands-on-support to all Special Programs related activities./liliMonitor and manage security programs and operations supported by and providing status reports and recommendations for decisions./liliAssist, collaborate, and coordinate with other SIS offices and divisions/liliDevelop solutions, and convey to internal and external customers./liliProvide agency level technical expertise concerning the identified security disciplines and operations support./liliMonitor security applications through the review and analysis of appropriate metrics and maintains required records./liliPrepare and disseminate security procedures/guidance./liliProvide guidance as required in implementing security requirements./liliManage project milestones./liliUpdate and maintain appropriate records (e.g. database and hardcopy) of security actions./liliLiaise with members of the DoD, the IC and other officials as required to keep abreast of current personnel./liliInterpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials./liliReceive, control and safeguard SCI and collateral information. Acts as liaison between NGA and other federal agencies and contractors./liliRisk management - conducts surveys and render impact statements or recommendations./liliPrepare and deliver briefings to internal and external customers. Prepares various forms of correspondence./liliMonitor and manage security operations and provide government with status reports and recommendations for decisions./liliApply experience in supporting security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security issues./liliProvide security guidance to contractors using DoD and IC regulations and requirements - analyze complex data and make appropriate program recommendations./liliInvestigate and prepare impact statements, and provide recommendations on security/security violations./liliPrepare Program Access Requests (PAR) for SCI Controlled Access Programs (CAPs), Special Access Programs (SAP), Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) and IAW applicable security access management procedures./liliProvide technical security expertise in one or more of the following security disciplines: personnel, physical/industrial, computer investigations, and operations./liliUtilize security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security issues./liliMonitor security applications through the review and analysis of appropriate metrics./liliDevelop the required program/operation to support tasks/requirements./liliObtain Access to Special Access Program (SAP), Control Access Program (CAP) and/or Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) Information as required for the execution of NGAs sensitive program mission (SISS)./li/ulpRequired:/pulliTS/SCI clearance and must be willing to undergo a polygraph exam/liliHave a minimum of Five years of experience conducting or directly supporting special or sensitive operational and/or technical activities within the DoD or IC./liliDemonstrate experience applying Executive Orders 12333 and 13526, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 906 705 and DoD Manual 5205.07 Vols 1-4 standards associated with classified national security information, and special access program information./liliMust have successfully completed/passed the following DoD course: Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Introduction to Special Access Programs SAP 101.10./li/ulpDesired:/pulliSuccessful completion of DOD CDSE SECURITY FUNDAMENTALS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION (SFPC)/liliExperience with Special Programs Databases and systems: JADE, DISS, SIC, Scattered Castles, ICCARS, PULSE, E2SP/li/ulpAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
