We are hiring for a Security Specialist IV - Contract Program Security Officer - active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. The position requires to work onsite in our Springfield, VA location. 

Responsibilities
  • What You'll Do
    • The Security Specialist assist the Security Support Lead in the execution of all security related functions. The Security Specialist will be responsible for functions related to the following security areas: physical security, industrial security, information security, personnel security, and cyber security. The Security Specialist will possess knowledge on collateral, SCI, and SAP security regulations.
  • Responsibilities
    • The Security Specialist must have experience in solving DoD and DoN security problems.
    • Shall have demonstrated experience in managing special access programs, insider threat programs, and security education/training awareness programs.
    • The Security Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative security support.
    • The Security Specialist will be responsible for tracking memoranda of agreements, transition plans, co-utilization agreements, classifications guides, and other security documentation as required.
    • The Security Specialist will assist in conducting facility security self-reviews annually and providing corrective action plans as necessary.
    • The Security Specialist will establish and maintain an electronic database for all program facilities and personnel.
    • Subject matter expertise is highly desired in the use of the Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) software application.
Qualifications
  • Position Qualifications:
    • Shall have 2 or more years of security specialist experience.
    • Shall have 2 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project)
  • Desired Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • Security Clearance Requirements:
    • This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
  • The position requires to be onsite due to the classified nature/location of the program.
