Requirements:
- Extensive UKG experience.
- People leadership experience, minimum 2-3 years overseeing a small team
- Strong people leadership skills, must enjoy leading team members and developing them
- Must be comfortable working in an in office setting, 4 days minimum near the Grove in Los Angeles
Compensation - $140-165k Base + bonus
- Provide leadership for Payroll operations, ensuring processes are efficient and operating smoothly
- Oversee, hire, develop a team of payroll professionals
- Manage and develop all external payroll services/vendors
- Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and efficient multi-state payroll processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure compliance with US and foreign securities regulations and tax requirements, and month-end, quarter-end and year-end close procedures
- Ensure all payroll related tax filings are completed timely and accurately, partnering with Accounting, Finance, Tax teams as needed to ensure compliance.
- Build and foster relationships with the Compensation, Benefits & Human Resources teams to ensure employee pay is timely and accurate, including management of one-off deductions and payments
- Consistently evaluate processes and operational efficiencies, continuously make improvements to maintain controls.
- Ensure team accurately processing payroll, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
- Partner with HR leadership during merit and performance cycles to ensure bonus and merit increases are processed timely.
