We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance and Operations to join our leadership team and drive our company's financial and operational success. The Director of Finance and Operations will oversee all financial, operational, and human resources functions of the company. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health, operational efficiency, and strategic growth of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, operations, and HR management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving organizational success.


Responsibilities:


1. Financial Management and Reporting:

  • Oversee all financial and accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage accounts receivable and payable, and optimize financial performance.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and develop financial models to support business decisions.


2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and process improvements.
  • Support business development initiatives and expansion efforts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to drive long-term success.


3. Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance governance and accountability.


4. Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Optimize workflows and implement best practices across departments.
  • Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage systems and subscriptions for day-to-day operational needs for the company.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance and operations role, preferably within a small to mid-sized company.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational management and process optimization.
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
