Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Threat Intelligence team. You’ll play a key role in fortifying the security of their 5G network, working closely with senior engineers to dive deep into phone network data, spot anomalies, and help craft risk profiles. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to make a significant impact on the cutting edge of cybersecurity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing vast amounts of network data to identify potential security threats.
  • Support the development and implementation of systems designed to capture and analyze network data.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers in investigating and mitigating security threats.
  • Participate in continuous optimization and refinement of security protocols.
  • Engage in hands-on work in lab, field, or testing environments to directly contribute to enhancing network security.


Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of telecommunications and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Splunk, SQL, KQL, Defender, or similar,
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or Linux+ are preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Willingness to obtain a Top Secret security clearance if not already held.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical team members.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and high-pressure situations.
