Quality / First Article Technician Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete first article inspections
  • Accurately complete necessary First Article and related documents
  • Provide feedback to personnel regarding inspection results in a timely manner.
  • Identify print issues where needed.
  • Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques when required.


Quality / First Article Technician Key Requirements:

  • 3 years machining blueprint reading & GDT experience preferred
  • 3 years machining first article inspection experience preferred
  • History with a wide variety of manual inspection equipment (i.e. bore gages, micrometers, pins, comparator, calipers, etc.)
  • Must be able to navigate excel software efficiently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective attention to detail and organized
  • Ability to prioritize work when needed
