Hybrid position requires consultant to be on-site in Bloomfield, CT 3 days a week.

Day to Day:
-be the go to person for running ITOM/CMDB ServiceNow platform for the disaster recovery sector of the Infrastructure org
-maintain the CMBD (Configuration Management Database) Discovery process; the CMBD is a disaster recovery file that shares the hardware, software, and networks of important data for Cigna
-will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues with CMBD
-facilitate to the team and leaders all progress weekly

Must Haves:
-3+ years of experience with ITSM ticketing systems
-3+ years of experience with ServiceNow
-Strong familiarly with ITOM configuration management database (CMDB) services
-HS degree required (Bachelors not a requirement)
-can juggle multiple tasks at once; if someone has worked with ServiceNow prior they should be able to manage their time well and know how to juggle tasks and tickets

Nice to haves/Plus:
-Bachelor's degree
-outgoing and upbeat personality; will be meeting and communicating with leaders often
-experience with Change Management

This position requires a strong ITOM/CMDB development background as they will lead a team of developers (on and offshore) in areas of design, development, documentation, testing, and modification of existing and new ITOM & CMDB capabilities, discovery patterns and sensors, championing standard techniques, procedures, and criteria

They will participate in architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy versus build decisions They will supervise and communicate the development project status, dependencies, and risks and mitigation strategies to the project team and leadership Daily interaction with ServiceNow and ITOM configuration management database (CMDB) services in an enterprise product environment Helps maintain the governance, polices, and direction of the CMDB Assists in leading the CMDB discovery, CI relationship vision and roadmap Maintains the integrity of the CMDB and Discovery processes Responsible for maintaining Discovery application tool within ServiceNow Identify improvements with internal consumers of data whose processes interact with the CMDB
