Information Technology Compliance Manager

In this critical role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational objectives. You'll leverage your expertise to develop and implement effective compliance strategies, manage risk assessments, and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all IT compliance initiatives at the site.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) aligned with regulatory mandates and organizational policies.
  • Champion Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance by managing and executing IT controls testing, ensuring robust controls mitigate financial reporting risks, and collaborating with internal and external auditors.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential IT compliance risks and vulnerabilities, develop risk mitigation strategies, and report on the effectiveness of these strategies to senior management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) regulations, ensuring IT and data management practices align with these standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors on CUI and CMMC assessments and audits.
  • Manage Purview and Secude tools for effective CUI compliance.
  • Develop and document standardized processes for IT and data management to optimize efficiency and consistency. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance asset and data governance.
  • Deliver impactful training and support to staff members on IT asset management, data governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust Change Management processes, ensuring all changes to IT systems adhere to established standards and guidelines.
  • Cultivate a culture of IT compliance awareness and accountability through comprehensive training programs for IT staff and relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance, security, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective IT compliance programs.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant IT compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, CUI, CMMC).
  • Deep understanding of relevant regulations and standards (NIST SP 800-53).
  • Strong grasp of IT controls, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
