Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of 10-15 engineers, including Electrical, Embedded Software, Systems, and Test disciplines.
- Lead the Electronics Hardware Design efforts, making key design decisions and supporting engineers through the product development process.
- Implement engineering best practices to ensure products meet the highest standards for customers and industry requirements.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team, including performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
- Contribute to the hiring and interview process for the engineering team.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, on-site
- Location: Los Angeles
- Salary Range: $200k-$250k base salary (commensurate with experience)
Required Experience:
- Previous experience managing an engineering design team.
- Proven track records leading entire product development projects.
- Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering / Embedded Hardware Design.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred:
- Experience designing high-speed communications products.
- Medical device experience and understanding of compliance standards such as IEC 60601.
