Specializing in cutting-edge communications devices used across diverse industries, including entertainment and medical devices, the company is on the verge of launching new product lines and entering its most significant growth phase yet.
As the Director of Engineering, you will be instrumental in driving this growth, overseeing a multi-disciplinary engineering division through the entire design and development process of the company's current and next-generation advanced communications products.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of Engineers and Managers (Electrical Engineers, Embedded Software, System Integration)
- Technical leadership of Electronics Design, supporting engineers through the product development process.
- Implement engineering best practices to ensure products meet the highest standards for customers and industry requirements.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team, including performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
- Assist in the growth of engineering division.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, on-site
- Salary Range: $200k-$250k base salary (commensurate with experience) plus bonus
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Management.
- Proven track records leading product development projects, especially hardware design.
- Technical background in Hardware Engineering - Board designs, PCB Layouts, Schematic capture (ideally incorporating high speed signals).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred:
- Medical device experience and understanding of compliance standards such as IEC 60601.
