We are hiring a Leadership Training Specialist who will assist in developing, delivering, and implementing the MWC training and learning curriculum for MWC team members in an organized and strategic approach. This Leadership Training Specialist is located onsite at our state-of-the-art plant


Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in interviews for MWC candidates.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records for New Employee Orientation, Next In Line Leadership Training, and New Leader Bootcamp.
  • Review existing training practices and materials to determine effectiveness or change for improved results.
  • Train new and recently promoted leaders, per leader program, to prepare them for effective and impactful leadership.
  • Work with the MWC team and COEs to design and implement a strategic training plan for Vacation Reliefs, Assistant Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and other team members as assigned.
  • Collaborate, create, deliver, and facilitate monthly training programs to improve leadership, development, coaching, legal knowledge, and skills to improve employee retention, site engagement, and team culture.
  • Conduct audits to ensure supervisors are performing tasks according to standards operating procedures (SOP) and trained leadership tools.
  • Analyze needs and develop individual development plans for underperforming team members.
  • Participate in continual professional improvement, including but not limited to staying up to date on the latest training technology and approaches to ensure the quality of training delivered to the team.
  • Maintain documentation of employee certifications and all information necessary for training documentation.


Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience within training
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, recording keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
